Scope of Work

During your employment your duties are not limited to the following:

- **1. **Financial Management and Reporting**
- Overseeing the regional finance team in financial reporting
- Review and maintain the regional accounts in accordance with group’s financial policies and procedures
- Prepare group consolidation report in accordance with group’s financial policies.
- Support the country offices to prepare the annual budget and revised forecasts on an accurate and timely basis
- Assist the head of finance to prepare any regional budgets and forecasts as required
- Responsible for group audit in accordance to the relevant standards (i.e IFRS, SFRS and Swiss GAAP) and tax compliance
- Ensure receivables and payables are well managed
- Assist the head of finance to provide financial management and reporting services to HQ group of companies that have been assigned under portfolio
- Analyse financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budgets

**2. **Financial Monitoring**
- Undertake visits to country office to help ensure quality is maintained in all aspects of financial management when required.
- Review reconciliations prepared by each country office
- Provide a gap fill service for the financial management in country programmes as required due to staff absence from leave or resignation.
- Assists the head of finance in providing timely and accurate financial monitoring reports

**3. **Financial System Development**
- Work with the head of finance to improve financial systems in the region and assist in introducing change where requested as part of the global improvement and to provide timely and appropriate financial information to head of finance

**4. **Strategic Input**
- Assist the head of finance to provide input into the strategic objectives of the finance team and how it can achieve its plans

**5. **Legal, security and risk management**
- Assist the head of finance to conduct review in the country offices to test the financial controls
- Ensure regional assets are maintained in accordance with Elite’s asset management policy

**6. **Perform all other ad-hoc duties assigned by the head of finance
