We are looking to hire a detail-oriented Home Automation System Installer. Duties will include installation, troubleshoot and servicing new and existing AV and automation, structured cabling, and CCTV and security.

You will inclusive to provide plan and design for projects as well as to guide and advise the customer the most appropriate system layout to fulfil their requirements. You will be responsible for Automation systems from installation to end-of-life by performing maintenance, warranty, and emergency repairs.

**Requirement & Responsibilities**:

- 2 or more year experience working on residence and/or commercial projects.
- Experience in wiring, setup, and calibration of audio/video equipment and automation control systems.
- Knowledge for all aspects of audio/video and control systems, including switched networks and lighting control systems.
- Working knowledge of major control and automation systems including Control4, Savant and Lutron.
- Experience with computer systems, including Windows and MacOS, Microsoft Office suite, and related industry software.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project scope of work.
- Understanding of data networks, including WAN/LAN, Zigbee, Switching/Routing, WiFi and various protocol standards
- Proper use of hand/power tools ladders and other site safety equipment
- Performing warranty services.
- Performing emergency system troubleshooting promptly and efficiently.
- Providing technical direction and on-the-job training.
- Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
- Assisting with customers' queries.

**Qualifications**:

- Nitec, Higher Nitec, Diploma equivalent or higher
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
