**Job Summary**:
The Vice President - Human Resource (VP HR) is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the shared services and HR Systems as well support the CHRO to drive the organization's human resources strategies, policies, and initiatives. This position works closely with the ST Logistics Group Senior Management and business operations leaders to align HR practices with the company's overall business objectives and foster a positive and productive work environment within the supply chain industry. The VP HR plays a crucial role in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent to support the company's growth and success.
As the VP HR, you will provide support to the CHRO to drive the development and execution of innovative people strategies that enable the company to attract, develop, and retain top talents that competitively position ST Logistics as an employer of choice.
He/she will analyze workforce data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities to enhance HR programs, policies, and practices. Promoting a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and employee engagement will be paramount. The VP HR will cultivate an inclusive environment that values diversity and ensures compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
In addition, he/she will provide expert guidance to senior leadership on complex HR issues, organizational design, talent management, employee relations, and change management initiatives. With a deep understanding of the business, you will align HR priorities with the company's overall strategic objectives.
The VP HR is an exceptional communicator skilled at building relationships and influencing across all levels of the organization.
**Job Responsibilities/Key Tasks(External)**:
**HR Shared Services (HRSS) Management & Operational Excellence**
- Contribute to developing HR strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Provide strategic guidance & advice to leaders on HR matters
- Support CHRO to drive HR transformation across strategy, structure, people, processes, and systems
- Manage HRSS including employee services, systems, and data management
- Diagnose HR function's effectiveness in meeting current and future business/people needs
**HRIS Implementation & Optimisation**
- Implement and optimize HRIS, aligning tech initiatives with biz strategies
- Drive HR digitalization and automation
- Evaluate emerging tech for HR operations needs
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance
**Analytics and Insights**
- Analyze HR data to identify trends and opportunities
- Perform market sensing and leverage external benchmarking
- Understand business strategy and its workforce implications
**Relationship & Communications**
- Manage resistance with empathy and respect
- Establish trust and understand leaders' needs
**Labour Policies & Legislation**
- Review HR processes to ensure compliance.
**Manage team & performance**:
- Manage the HRSS team by providing guidance & development opportunities.
- Lead team to achieve objectives align with business strategy.
**HR Process Improvement**
- Review processes, identify improvement and automation opportunities
- Monitor KPIs
- Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve HR ops.
- **Others**
- Undertake any assigned projects / duties directed by Management(if any)
**Job Requirements**:
- Proficient in MS Office Applications / Microsoft Power Platform Applications.
- Extensive knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies and initiatives in a complex business environment
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities in a complex business environment.
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability and ability to thrive in a constantly evolving business context and cultural nuances.
- Willingness to take on any other secondary appointment(s) as assigned
**Professional Qualifications & Relevant Experience**:
- Degree in Human Resource, Business or a related field,
- IHRP Certification Preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR role within a large local or government organisation.
