Responsibilities
- Review and interpret structural shop drawings provided by design team for the main Contractor’s direct works (RC structure, drain, precast member such as safety barrier and kerb, etc.).
- Prepare bar bending schedule (BBS) from the relevant shop drawings
- Quantity taking-off under the main Contractor’s direct works
- Co-ordinate with relevant departments of the main Contractor
- Co-ordinate with rebar supplier and fabricator for material order and delivery
- Prepare the approval process of material requisition (MR) with the information for issuing the purchase order (PO) of materials (rebar, formwork, scaffolding, temporary steel, ready-mixed concrete, cement, other related material, etc.)
- Categorize and manage all the cost (invoices) based on budget categories (major material such as concrete and rebar, other material, labour, service work, equipment, others, etc.)
- Compare the monthly actual cost and the budget based on the work-done QTY to check monthly profit/loss and conduct the estimation of future cost.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction industry
- Independent, self-motivated and responsible individual with good working attitude
- Can use CAD and Microsoft Excel to develop bar bending schedule
