Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing and Supplier Management:Identify potential suppliers and build a robust supplier base.
Analyze supplier capabilities, products, and pricing to ensure high-quality supplies at competitive prices.
Conduct supplier evaluations and performance reviews, ensuring adherence to quality, delivery, and contractual requirements.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.

Procurement Process:Analyze and review purchase requisitions to determine appropriate procurement methods and ensure accuracy and completeness of the request.
Prepare and issue requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotations (RFQs), and invitations to bid (ITBs) to potential suppliers.
Evaluate and negotiate supplier proposals, contracts, and terms, ensuring alignment with the organization's needs and goals.
Monitor and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.

Cost Optimization:Implement cost-saving strategies and initiatives to reduce procurement expenses without compromising quality.
Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, including volume discounts, rebates, and payment terms.

Compliance and Policy Adherence:Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier information.
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to manage potential risks associated with procurement activities.

Collaboration and Communication:Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as finance, operations, and project management, to understand their procurement needs and provide timely support.
Communicate effectively with suppliers to resolve any issues related to orders, deliveries, or product quality.

Continuous Improvement:Regularly review and improve procurement processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Suggest and implement innovative solutions and best practices for procurement operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

- 5-8 years of relevant experience as a Procurement Specialist or a similar role
- Experience in handling large capital expenditure (capex) projects is an added advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, procurement, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a procurement specialist or similar role, preferably in the industry relevant to the organization.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of procurement regulations, industry trends, and best practices.
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

Pay: $3,000.00 - $10,000.00 per month
