We're looking for people who are enthusiastic about our product but also fast and independent learners. As an UI/UX designer intern at an early-stage company, you'll be an essential part of the team and take ownership to create design works that will impact the lives of many in their learning journey

**Role**:

- Design graphic user interface elements, like splash screen, quizzes
- Conduct user research to optimize effectiveness of new and existing features
- Conduct adjustments based on user feedback
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes, based on insights from customer interviews
- Produce high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams and prototypes
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product manager and engineers
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Create original illustrations to support educational content

**Requirements**:

- Currently pursuing a degree in a recognized university or polytechnic, preferably in design major (e.g. UI/UX, interaction, graphic, product, visual communications) or related diploma/ degree
- Some UI/UX design experience preferred, with a demonstrated portfolio showing your designs
- Keen eye for design with strong visual design skills, sensitive to user-system interaction
- Proficient in mainstream design and prototyping/wireframing tools (e.g. Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Experience Design, Adobe Photoshop, Protopie etc.)
- Proactive in identifying issues and developing innovations
- Passionate about education industry a plus
- Experience in tech industry a plus
- Highly accountable and takes ownership of one’s own work
- Curiosity to explore creative solutions and try new things
