Port & Cargo Manager

**Job Description**:
- Port equipment tracking, maintenance log and reporting
- Check and review, vessel line up, cargo operation result and final stowage plan
- Cargo Superintendent role for cargo load/discharging & damage prevention
- Maintenance of database and expertise in regional port capabilities, local operation procedures and formalities
- Responsible for training and ensuring safe cargo handling procedures and compliance for regional Port agencies and Stevedoring
- Continuous improvement on operations efficiency and identify possible cost reductions and avoidance to seek out the best Way of Working
- Coordinate with Cargo Quality on operation requirements and follow up on cargo quality issue with port agents and Stevedores
- Follow up on personnel or cargo accident with CAPA and setup-up preventive measures
- Conduct port operation audits, monitor and reporting on operational KPI’s with follow up actions.
Job Requirement:
- Min Diploma or 3 years relevant experience
- Excellent knowledge of management methods and techniques
- Ability to think strategically and to lead
- Excellent communicator, great interpersonal skills
- Takes ownership and holds accountability
