ByteDance is seeking a Vendor Management Manager to support our Infrastructure Engineering - Sourcing team. As a Vendor Management Manager, you are expected to run both holistic vendor lifecycle program and business review operational efforts on minimum quarterly basis. You will manage accountability of vendor performance and improvement actions with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and suppliers to make it a success.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead in vendor lifecycle management program, building Edge Infrastructure vendor pool from 0 to 1; drive the pool from infancy to maturity with key stakeholder teams.
- Lead in developing, refreshing, and delivering regular business reviews criteria, methodology, and template with key stakeholders and cross functional teams, in alignment with business goals.
- Perform regular vendor intake review with clear criteria and strategic roadmap, in alignment with edge infrastructure short-mid-long term roadmap.
- Ensure vendor pool meets abundancy and redundancy KPI in each category and tier classification.
- Contribute to team’s vendor capability matrix and database building.
- Contribute to the vendor due diligence and compliance program in alignment with all internal policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree - 5+ years of total experience, 3 of which should be relevant experience in consulting, engineering, or procurement in Telecom, cloud computing, IX, or data center. Must have experience with CDN, Bandwidth markets, Cloud service, and IDC with a proven history of delivering results.
- Experience in vendor maturity (capability, risk, lifecycle etc) model/tool/matrix is preferred.
- Proficiency with Excel and strong analytical acumen.
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills that enable you to earn trust at all levels.
- Business focused thinking, an ability to focus on key issues and a strong hands-on, results driven mentality.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- MBA with relevant business experience
- Ability to operate simultaneously and effectively in both tactical and strategic modes
- A great deal of personal initiative, creativity, decisiveness and team spirit
