Shipping Coordinator

**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with freight forwarders, customers, and overseas agencies for both outgoing and incoming shipments
- Preparation of booking confirmation, Bill of Lading, insurance, invoices and pre-alerts for overseas agents
- Coordinate with shipper, carriers, co-loaders, transporters, and warehouses for the smooth transfer of cargo from point to point
- Coordinate and negotiate rates with agents, carriers, co-loaders for export rates
- Plan container stuffing for LCL consolidation
- Enter various shipment information into the system
- Ensure the daily operations run smoothly
- Assist and work closely with the sales and operation team
- Maintain open and effective communication with customers regarding shipment status, delays, and any relevant updates
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly

**Requirements**:

- Diploma / Bachelor degree or equivalent
- Possess 2-3 years of relevant shipping/logistics experience
- Familiar with Incoterms and shipping including LC issuance & negotiation
- Preferably with knowledge of ERP systems
- Proficient in computer skills, especially in MS Office
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision and is a good team player
- Highly self-motivated and good initiative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in Mandarin in order to liaise with Mandarin speaking business associates
- Singaporean preferred
- Immediate Availability
