Role:
Key Responsibilities include:

- Design and develop software for quantum error correction and fault-tolerance.
- Conduct research and simulations to test new algorithms and optimize existing ones.
- Collaborate with a team of physicists and engineers to integrate quantum error correction techniques into broader quantum computing projects.
- Maintain and enhance the performance of existing quantum computing software.
- Document development processes and results for publication and internal use.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in quantum computing and error correction technologies.

- Master’s degree in Physics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrable prior research experience in quantum error correction and fault-tolerance.
- Strong scientific computing skills, with proficiency in programming languages commonly used in quantum computing such as Python, Q#, or C++.
- Experience with quantum programming frameworks and tools like Qiskit, Cirq, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical details to non-experts.

Preferred Qualifications:

- PhD in a related field.
- Publications in relevant peer-reviewed journals.
- Experience in an interdisciplinary team, working with both developers and theorists.
