**Responsibilities**
About the Team
The Datacenter Development team is responsible for site selection, acquisition and delivery. As the Capacity Planner, you will be responsible for the following:
- Be responsible for the layout planning of IDC infrastructure resources for Bytedance group business, formulate planning strategies and implementation plans from the dimensions of IDC medium and long-term capacity planning, technology, cost, and policy
- Follow up the rolling forecast & changes of business demand, dynamically adjust the resource supply plan, ensure the flexible supply of rack resources under complex business scenarios, and ensure the delivery SLA
- Be responsible for rack capacity management, including rack capacity planning, supply & demand matching and power utilization optimization
- Realize the online operation of data management & submission process for capacity demand, establish capacity monitoring system, and ensure the health index of resource supply
- Support server resource deployment, business migration and other demands, including server scrapping, reconfiguration and IDC relocation
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor degree or above with more than 2 years of IDC related experience, familiar with data center architecture and knowing the whole life cycle of data center
- Strong logic ability, sensitive to data, good data collation and analysis ability
- Have certain project management ability, and be proficient in using project management tools and methods
- Passionate about the IDC industry, with systematic thinking and overall view, good communication and coordination skills, problem-solving skills and sense of responsibility
- Certified Professional Engineer is an added advantage
