**About the role**

This role will work closely with our ocean team to improve our sourcing strategy in ASPAC region while ensuring global operational service quality is maintained at the highest level.

**What you will be doing
- Work with a team of sea freight purchasers in various entities/counties and to build local relationship with carriers.
- Negotiate rate on general contracts and ad-hoc basis with various carriers on the main Bollore policy.
- Handling of rates and service enquires coordinator for rate and operations commitment through local and regional office.
- Improve spot rates and purchase rates with local partners
- Responsible for profitability and locally controlled volume growth.
- Establish and maintain good relationship with customers, staff and shipping lines/agents by providing the optimum customer service
- Improve and manage global operational service quality in ASPAC region
- Identity opportunities for business development in ASPAC region
- Support tender desk for local and overseas office RFI/RFQ
- Assisting to determine pricing guideline and sea freight policy.
- Implement loading policy into entities
- Ensure adherence to company quality standards and customer quality requirement.

**Essential**
- At least 3 years experience in a fast paced and dynamic multi-cultural MNC environment
- Strong knowledge of ocean operations
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics or a related field
- Good working knowledge in MS Office/ data solution

**Desirable**
- Prior experience with digital procurement systems
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and technical skills
- Resourceful, result-oriented and able to work under pressure
- Strong analytical skills
