**Key Responsibilities**
- **Research and Scriptwriting**:

- Conduct in-depth research on a range of maritime topics, including history, navigation, engineering, and emerging industry trends.
- Create and refine scripts that simplify complex maritime concepts into clear, engaging narratives.
- Propose fresh and innovative video ideas that align with the channel’s goals.
- **Content and Animation Accuracy**:

- Act as a consultant to ensure scripts and animations accurately represent maritime concepts and details.
- Review and provide feedback on animations and other visual content to align with the script and maintain factual integrity.
- Collaborate with animators and the production team to resolve discrepancies and enhance the quality of visual storytelling.
- **Content Development**:

- Trace stories back to original sources, such as historical documents, academic papers, and technical reports, to ensure credibility.
- Stay updated on maritime industry advancements, historical discoveries, and audience interests to incorporate into content.
- **Team Collaboration and Communication**:

- Provide technical maritime insights during brainstorming and planning sessions with the team.
- Mentor team members, such as script writers, to maintain quality and consistency in content production.
- Share knowledge of maritime concepts with animators and editors to help them better interpret and visualize scripts.
- Coordinate with other team members, such as researchers, editors, and animators, to streamline the production process.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Develop and implement quality assurance checklists to ensure consistent accuracy and professionalism across all content.
- Maintain documentation of research sources and references for transparency and credibility.

**Requirements**:

- Strong background in **Maritime Studies**, **Naval Architecture**, **Marine Engineering**, or a related field.
- Awareness of current maritime industry challenges, such as environmental concerns, technological advancements, and global trade dynamics.
- A proven ability to generate creative ideas that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Exceptional research and writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex maritime ideas clearly and engagingly.
- An understanding of storyboarding or the ability to sketch ideas for better collaboration with visual teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring accuracy in both scripts and visual content.
- Passion for maritime topics, history, and storytelling.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively within a remote team.

Pay: $700.00 - $1,500.00 per month
