**Job Purpose**

Assist and support the New Business administrative team on daily operations / processing.

**The Job**
- Registration of new proposal submissions into system.
- Process policy amendment requests coming from daily inflow of documents received.
- Manning the NBU counter, attending to intermediaries’ enquiries and acknowledgement on submission of new business documents.
- Assist on policy premium billings / refunds and despatch matters.
- Coordinate and collaborate with intermediaries and internal stakeholders to ensure daily work issues are resolved to provide appropriate and timely services to customers.
- Other duties include (but not limited to), back-up duties during team member’s absence and other ad hoc tasks as assigned by supervisors.
- Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks;
- Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company; and
- Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

**Our Requirements**
- Diploma holder and above in related discipline (Banking/Finance/ Business/ Accounting) with relevant insurance certifications preferred.
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry or in an administrative capacity with an eye for details (meticulous) and good communication skills - proficient in oral and written skills.
- Problem solving, interpersonal skills, customer service orientated.
- Good team player with strong analytical skills & ability to work under pressure
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
- Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
