Material Lab Technician

Singapore STRUCTO PTE. LTD. Full time

Structo is looking for highly motivated technician to join our materials group to support the engineers in the formulation of new materials and ongoing development activities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Drive the experiments from start to completion.
- Actively participate in the formulation of new resins.
- Work with the engineers to analyze the results and make logical conclusions from the test results.
- Record all relevant findings and observations from the experiments and discuss with the engineers.
- Station leader for maintaining all 5S and HSE records.
- Actively participate in problem solving exercises.
- Ensure there is enough stock of raw materials required to conduct experiments.
- Ensure that the equipment used in the experiments are calibrated and inform the team for any equipment that may require calibration.

**Requirements**:

- NITEC or Technical Certificate in Material Science/ Chemistry or Chemical Engineering discipline
- 2 years of work experience working in any relevant chemical industry
- Ability to multitask and operate independently without a lot of supervision.
- Display problem solving and strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office tools (Word/ Excel and Powerpoint).
- Have a positive attitude with a constant motivation to learn more.
