Looking for a Staff Engineer open to working with Ruby and Kubernetes on public cloud providers. While prior experience in this stack is valued, it is not mandatory for the role.

The position offers the opportunity to provide technical leadership and mentorship, making strategic decisions to evolve system architecture for future needs. Responsibilities include developing resilient workflows in a distributed multi-tenant architecture, managing large-scale APIs, ensuring high software and code quality, and leading issue resolution. Additionally, the role involves playing a vital role in addressing and preventing production incidents, collaborating with teams, and meeting both your team's and others' needs.

Job Requirements:

- Proven leadership in leading teams through problem-solving and successful project execution.
- Expertise in addressing challenges related to distributed systems/infrastructure at scale.
- Experience building systems orchestrating workflows across multiple services, using tools like Temporal/Airflow/Cadence/Kafka.
- Extensive knowledge of API design principles, patterns, and best practices, with demonstrated experience in building and operating large-scale API services.
- Enjoyment and experience in mentoring and contributing to the career development of engineers and peers.
- Comfortable leading initiatives across multiple teams, using deep technical knowledge to influence roadmaps and architectural decisions.
