**Context for the role**

Based in our Singapore office, the Paralegal will work directly with the Senior Legal Counsel in creation and execution of all legal documents, support the Group General Counsel with company secretarial duties as well as work closely with internal and external stakeholders across the globe. The Paralegal will provide timely, professional, and solution-focused legal support to provide best outcomes & support the rapid ongoing growth of our business.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Arranging execution of legal documents (NDAs, contracts, deeds etc)
- Preparation of board minutes, shareholders resolutions and company secretarial filings
- Supports the contracts team by conducting contract reviews and collection of relevant documents and information
- Supports in drafting international payments contracts with other financial institutions, mobile network operators, merchants and FinTechs.
- Partners with Sales, Product and Compliance teams to resolve open contractual points
- Provides strategic legal and commercial advice to international Sales teams
- Drafts and negotiates ad-hoc agreements to support commercial activities (e.g., referral, exclusivity)
- Coordinates execution of agreements and legalization of documents with international colleagues and counterparts
- Continually seeks efficiencies in process, contract automation and other ways to improve the teams output and outcomes

**Professional Experience/Qualifications**
- 1st or 2nd Upper Class Law Degree
- Minimum 3 years legal experience either in a law firm or a financially regulated/ FinTech business
- Experience negotiating and drafting contracts
- Experience in company secretarial duties i.e ; Preparation of board minutes, shareholders resolutions and company secretarial filings
- Good understanding of corporate organisational structures
- Clear written and verbal communicator in English
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage own workload
- Knowledge/ experience of the payment industry is desirable
- Fluency in additional European or Asian languages is advantageous
