The
Mathematics & Mathematics Education Department
(MME) invites applicants with an earned doctorate and research portfolio in Mathematics Education for Associate Professor/Assistant Professor position. This is an excellent opportunity for outstanding scholars to engage in a dynamic department to advance our education and research goals.
Requirements- Doctorate in Mathematics (preferably Discrete Mathematics)- Strong record of publications in reputable, peer-reviewed international journals- Demonstrated excellence in grant leadership as a Principal Investigator (PI)- Proven excellence in teaching at the university level- Excellent communication skills in English- Strong interpersonal skills with proven leadership of diverse, multicultural teams- Understanding and enthusiasm for working in Singapore and Asia, with a cultural appreciation for the region
Additional Requirements for Associate Professor:
- High research impact in a particular field of Mathematics, preferably Discrete Mathematics- Proven track record of grant awards, including being the PI of large-scale research projects
Responsibilities:
- Curriculum development and teaching- Supervision and mentorship- Research and development- Knowledge transfer and collaboration- For Associate Professor: community and professional development, international engagement, strategic leadership, and communication
