Technical Support Engineer

**Responsibilities**:
- Provide thorough analysis of customer’s tool uptime and propose actions/solutions to resolve high downtime systemic issues
- Identify product chronic/systematic issues and co-work with local team & factory team to establish improvement roadmap and follow up until issue closure
- Provide technical solutions to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel who are experiencing difficulties of diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, complex software, or networked and/or wireless systems
- Report design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs of product to Japan factory and follow up with factory on issue improvement progress, providing updates to customer/user until issue closure
- To provide training to field engineers on newly released BKMs
- Provide support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature
**Job Requirements**
- Degree in Physics/Chemical/Material Science Engineering and/or Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
- Experience in dry etch tool hardware experience is an advantage
- Strong communication and good interpersonal skills
- Ability and desire to work in a multicultural team
- Meticulous, organized and resourceful team player
- Highly motivated individual who works independently with little supervision
- Work in cleanroom environment
- Required to work during after office hours/weekend/public holiday
