**About the Team**
The APJ Field Services Sales team helps position our Consulting and Professional Services offerings to Workday customers and prospects. We ensure they get the maximum value out of their investments by helping them with deployment. We work together with the subscription sales teams and partner ecosystem to protect Workday’s consistent track record of customer happiness.
**About the Role**
As the leader for Services Specialist Sales in APJ you will build a team of service sales professionals responsible for selling Workday Core Financials, Planning and Analytics solutions across APJ.
You will partner with leadership teams across the APJ region (ASIA, Japan, ANZ) to help them grow their Financials knowledge and close sales pursuits. You will utilise your experience with consulting sales and project delivery to help your teams scope the right solutions and employ effective selling strategies to position Workday’s technologies.
You will work closely with our Partner ecosystem to help them plan successful projects and grow their business.
**Key Areas of Responsibility**:
- Focus on the Services bookings for Workday Financials solutions, including Core Finance, Planning, Analytics, Sourcing.
- Understand the competitive landscape and needs of prospects so you can position the value of Workday’s deployment methodology and why customers choose Workday Services.
- Work with Field Services and Regional Sales Directors to build a business development plan Financials customers across their Regions.
- Lead a team of sales and deployment professionals who will be responsible for building a rolling four quarter pipeline, closing and forecasting financials deals across APJ.
- Advise on deployment best practices for customers and partners
- Conduct Services detailed discovery sessions with prospects to investigate their business challenges and requirements.
- Nurture mutually beneficial relationships with Workday Service Partners.
**About You**
**Basic Qualifications**:
- 10+ years proven track record leading Financial or ERP implementation projects - Financial systems, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, or comparable
- 10+ years proven track record in Professional Services sales
**Other qualifications**:
- Leading complex services sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of attaining service revenue and profitability targets.
- Solid understanding of vendors, products, and services in the Office of the CFO, Financials Enterprise Application space.
- Great presentation skills while participating in a fast-paced product and services sales cycle.
- High attention to detail and experience with commercial processes and tools, including RFP responses, project calculation and/or estimation tools, and scope description and/or contract documentation
