My client is a global name in the design, development, and manufacturing of complex electro-mechanical systems and is now seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer

**Responsibilities**:

- Assume responsibility for the design and development of complex electro-mechanical systems
- Develop modular approach to hardware design and architecture
- Conduct detailed engineering analyses on components and sub-assemblies and generate concepts and detailed designs for electro-mechanical systems
- Support project planning and execute design implementation.
- Deliver module designs based on planned cost, schedule, and quality
- Support marketing department in the analysis of customer needs and in the development of product specifications
- Collaborate with DFM team to support injection moulding, gear design, machining, sheet metal and assembly
- Solve manufacturing issues, monitor product performance, manage repair issues, undertake product improvements, and perform value engineering
- Liaise with cross-functional teams (Electrical, Mechatronics, Software, Hardware)

**Requirements**:

- Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 - 7 years´ experience in an R&D environment
- Prior experience in product development from conceptualization to mass production.
- Stronghold of mechanical engineering design principles
- Knowledge in designing complex mechanisms and dynamic components such as clutches, gear trains, cams, and linkages
- Expertise in electro-mechanical components such as motors, power transmission and sensors
- Knowhow in the design of plastic, sheet metal, gear design, die-cast parts, rubber, electro-mechanical & mechanism parts/assemblies
- Proficient in SolidWorks CAD software or/and FEA
