Reports to:
Co Head of Development

As the Head of Crypto Engineering, you will be responsible for leading and growing the team responsible for all of Bullish’s crypto products. You will report to the Co Head of Development directly. You will manage a passionate group of blockchain specialists, smart contract developers, backend engineers and secure infrastructure engineers. The systems you will be responsible for interface with various blockchains, manage the exchange operational wallets, and implement controls, transaction monitoring and risk thresholds for Bullish Custody.

**Responsibilities**:
- Work alongside Product, Security, Infrastructure and Project Management counterparts to build and execute the custody product roadmap- Plan, manage and deliver software engineering and development projects.- Champion technical excellence and ensure quality- Build an outstanding organization by hiring exceptional people- Create an environment that fosters creativity and high performance- Provide guidance to teams to solve problems (technical, managerial, motivational etc.).- Participate in the strategic business and product planning process.- Work as part of a Global (HK, SG, US) team.

Skills and Experience:
- Deep understanding of multiple blockchain implementations- Passion for the Digital Asset & Blockchain space- Proficiency in Java and/or C++ required, both ideally.- Comfort with an agile methodology- Comfort with secure computing environments both in the cloud and bare metal- Experience building and managing enterprise software systems and infrastructure.- Skilled communicator with experience working with VP and Executive level stakeholders.- Experience growing teams to meet strategic product goals.- Experienced in building software from open source technologies.- Experience leading green field/brown field system build outs in the past.- Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD required.- Experience with Kubernetes.
