PM.Haze is running a community-led peatland restoration programme at a village in Riau, Indonesia. We plan to expand our work to other locations in Indonesia, including a village in West Kalimantan.

Supporting our Indonesia-based project manager, the executive will assist in the planning of our community-led peatland restoration programme. Execution will be done by the local community. The executive will also participate in activities such as: engagement with the local community and monitoring the rewetting and revegetation work. Analysis of results will be done with our advisors and research partners to verify the effectiveness of the community-led restoration work. The executive will also prepare, review and present regular reports to our stakeholders. Regular documentation of our work to ensure continuity will be required. The executive might also be required to support the preparation of digital assets to communicate our work in Indonesia through our social media channels.

As a small organisation, we also strongly encourage and give opportunities for the executive to participate in decision-making and programme planning.

**Responsibilities**
- Support Indonesia-based project manager in the planning, budgeting and management of the peatland restoration programme.
- Document learning outcomes from the peatland restoration programme.
- Support the development of digital assets for campaigns or social media.
- Coordinate trips to the village for our stakeholders and volunteers.
- Engage and work with partners, volunteers, and vendors on the above tasks.

**Requirements**:

- Education background or project management experience in community engagement, engineering, science, or environment-related fields.
- Proactive and comfortable working independently with mínimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills. Bahasa proficiency is preferred but not required.

**Commitment**
- Flexible work arrangement with no fixed working hours.
- Meetings that may occur after working hours or weekends to accommodate the board and external volunteers.
- Regional overseas travel about 5-10% of the time, or as necessary.
