**Our Team**:

- Our Foreign Exchange (FX) data team is seeking a Data Management Professional to integrate end user’s needs into our overall data strategy and drive product quality. FX is primarily a pricing product, seeking to provide transparency into 180+ OTC markets and 65,000 unique pricing streams. As a team, we are responsible for managing FX quotes to reflect prevailing market price levels and provide users with an accurate and reliable source of truth for their use cases. Our product offering includes calculators, analytics and benchmark fixings for use in the Bloomberg Terminal and Enterprise products. We engage with the FX community to explore and validate new ideas. Multi-functional collaboration, deep domain knowledge, thoughtful automation, and data management expertise are paramount for our ability to continuously deliver high quality data to our rapidly growing client base.

**What’s the Role?**We’ll Trust You To**:

- Become a true domain expert in Foreign Exchange by demonstrating your understanding of the datasets and market conditions, and by acting as a trusted adviser to your network internally and externally
- Develop, refine, and deliver the strategy for how to achieve best-in-class data quality, and nurture organizational change around data quality as a domain of data management
- Ensure our data is fit-for-purpose and ready-to-use by proactively reviewing the depth, timeliness and accuracy of datasets against user’s expectations
- Be responsive, resourceful, flexible and an excellent collaborator - Partner with our Product, Technology and Data Management Lab team to ensure consistent principles are leveraged, data quality tools are fit for purpose, and results will be measurable
- Keep up with the industry trends, standards, and innovation in the data quality domain

**You'll need to have**:

- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a relevant STEM field, or equivalent professional work experience.
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in data quality management, including the establishment of data governance and data quality metrics by using QlikSense & PowerBI.
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Data Profiling/Analysis using tools such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization.
- Strong presentation and communication skills in English.
- Experience working with ETL processes and broader data workflow engineering concepts.
- Ability to optimally communicate and present concepts and methodologies to diverse audiences.
- Strong agile/scrum project management experience while working with tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a diverse team environment.

**We'd Love to See**:

- DAMA CDMP, DCAM certification
- Project or work experience using one or more programming language such as Python, SQL and R
- Good understanding of Foreign Exchange markets
- Good understanding of our user’s workflows and data needs to ensure our offering is fit-for-purpose
