- Group/Division Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Define the top level system specifications based on marketing requirements- Identify system architecture choices and lead down-selection process- Help build system performance model and error budget, allocate requirements to the subsystems, optimize hardware/software solutions.- Create test plans, define required HW/SW setups, lead test design efforts and manage execution- Develop technical material for internal and external consumption- Expand patent portfolio- Coach team members
Minimum Qualifications- Experience leading R&D or engineering team with demonstrated success- Solid theoretical and experimental knowledge of physical optics, optical metrology, light sources and sensors, data analysis, signal processing- Expertise in at least two of the following: optical microscopy, optical design, EM modeling, optical metrology, optical design, interferometry, ellipsometry, scatterometry, laser physics- Hands-on skills in optical setups and willingness to use them- Data analysis, physics and system modeling capability- Excellent communication and presentation skills
