This role is primarily focused on the quantitative analysis needed to support investment decisions, debt raising and M&A processes globally. This requires a clear understanding of all aspects of solar and financing including (but not limited to) power markets, development processes, engineering, project finance structures, corporate debt structures, debt financing processes, derivative instruments, tax and accounting.

Financing
- Take ownership of the qualitative aspects of project and portfolio financing’s
- Analysis of preferred financing solutions on individual asset/portfolio basis
- Production and review of required information memorandums and investment papers

Investment Decisions
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain regional specific models and processes used by regional development teams to make investment decisions
- Have a clear understanding of power markets, engineering implications, tax, accounting and project financing in all our operational jurisdictions
- Review investment papers and models prepared by regional development teams
- Collaborate with regional development teams to assess investment opportunities
- Collaborate regional development teams to ensure bankable solutions, whilst highlighting key deal issues and areas of exposure

Acquisitions
- Take ownership of the asset valuation
- Coordinate and collaborate with different matter experts to determine the asset valuation
- Perform investor due diligence processes and managing external advisors where required
- Prepare investment papers of for senior management

Divestments
- Prepare IM’s and models for divestment processes
- Coordinate and collaborate with different matter experts to maximise asset valuation
- Determine the optimal divestment strategies to maximise profit
- Manage external advisors where required
