2021 marks Children’s Aid Society’s 119th year serving the community. Through Children’s Aid Society’s two services, Melrose Home (35 Boon Lay Avenue) and Melrose Care (Blk 557, #01-63, Woodlands Drive 53), the Society aims to provide a holistic range of residential care, specialized therapy, and psychological services to support and empower the most vulnerable in our community through their challenges of adverse family circumstances, family violence, and child neglect.
**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Oversees the identification, planning, development, administration, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of existing and new programmes and activities that meet the needs of the community.
- Network and liaise with relevant organisations, including schools, family service centres grassroots organisations and other agencies in promoting the Centre’s services and monitor service delivery.
- Work with the Executive Director to plan and prepare the annual budget for the Centre.
- Prepare reports and attend meetings of the Counselling & Psychotherapy Service Centre Sub-Committee and CAS Executive Committee as well as essential meetings with MSF, NCSS and related parties.
- Provide direction, supervision and guidance to the multidisciplinary clinical team and ensure compliance to regulations and administrative procedures. This includes holding internal team supervision and multidisciplinary team consultation (with appointed external experts) regularly.
- Undertake the responsibility in overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Counselling & Psychological Service Centre.
- Promote and strengthen community’s awareness and utilization of the Centre’s services and programmes.
- Build, maintain and enhance the CAS’s culture among the staff team in the Centre through the implementation of CAS’s HR, Operations and other policies.
- Involved and/or lead in organisation-wide project or programme as assigned by the Executive Director.
**Job Requirements**
- Ability to lead and manager a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to oversee and manage a social service / clinical service centre
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with good organisational and time management
- 5-10 years of clinical experience in social work, counselling or psychology
- 3-5 years of experience in overseeing social service programmes or delivery of clinical services
- Some experience in community networking & partnerships work
- Preferably with at least 3 years of clinical supervision experience
