**Key Responsibilities**:
**Windows Server Management**:
Administer and manage the installation, configuration and maintenance of Windows Server environments (2012 - 2022).

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows server, networking and hardware.

Ensure all Windows servers are patched and up to date with security updates.

**Active Directory (AD) Management**:
Configure and maintain Active Directory environments, including user /group management, domain controllers and replication.

Implement and manage Group Policy Objects, Organizational Units and other AD components.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AD replication, trust relationships and user authentications.

**Automation and Scripting**:
Experience on develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for task automation, configuration management and monitoring is preferred.

Hands-on experience to leverage automation tools like MECM, Altiris for streamlining repetitive tasks.

**Security Management**:
Implement and maintain security policies, including regular security updates, antivirus software, patch management.

Address audit findings in timely manner

**Virtualization & Infrastructure**:
Manage virtualized environments (eg: VMware) for efficient resource allocation and utilization.

Oversee storage provisioning and data backup/restore procedures to ensure high availability and disaster recovery.

Monitor server health, capacity and performance and ensure systems operate efficiently.

**Disaster Recovery & High Availability**:
Manage and execute backup policies to ensure timely and reliable data backups.

Implement disaster recovery plans, including system restoration and failover processes.

Ensure high availability configurations for critical systems, including clustering and load balancing.

**Support & Documentation**:
Provide escalated technical support for windows server related issues.

Maintain clear, concise documentation for system configurations, procedures, troubleshooting steps.

**Key Skills and Experience**:
Minimum 8+ Years of experience in Windows Server administration

Expertise in Active directory, Group Policies, and DNS / DHCP management.

Strong experience with virtualization platforms [ VMware]

Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and task automation.

Solid knowledge of networking protocols and security principles.

Experience with backup solutions, disaster recovery, high availability configurations.

Experience in troubleshooting Windows server environments and virtualization platforms.

**Qualifications**:
Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Relevant certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, CompTIA, VCP are highly preferred.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
