You will be part of the National Library, Collections (Arts and Gen Ref) team that that engages Singaporeans in discovering and using Singapore and regional content, thereby fostering a sense of national identity and pride. The role will also include developing and delivering timely information products and reference services to meet NLB / NL's desired outcomes and objectives.

[What you will be working on]
- Lead the development of the Literary Arts (English) collection by defining requirements to meet users' needs for print & non-print materials and resources for digitisation and take follow-up actions (e.g. weeding, select materials to fill collection gaps)
- Write and edit articles in professional publications, prepare book summaries, reviews, annotated bibliographies/booklists, research/conference papers related to the area(s) of specialisation
- Plan, conduct and strategize promotion and outreach activities to create greater awareness of the library's collections, products and services which includes conducting library tours and user education sessions as and when assigned.

[What we are looking for]
- 2-5 years of relevant working experience, with background in humanities or arts related discipline preferred.
- Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Good project management, organizational, communication and writing skills.
- Good working knowledge of digital content and online platforms
- Strong networking and relationship building skills with a passion for learning and commitment to customer service
- Able to work independently and in teams.
- Required to perform shift work and work during weekends
