Scientist/senior Scientist

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**
- Design and develop molecular assays, protocols for sample preparation and nucleic acid extraction and purification and/or other reagents related to molecular tests for in vitro diagnosis
- Analyze data and troubleshoot issues and provide creative solutions
- Plan and execute experimental procedures to design, test, validate and integrate the products and systems according to relevant international standards
- Demonstrates scientific technical expertise and drive projects to achieve project deliverables and objective
- Compile and communicate project progress reports for milestone review with management and communicate & work effectively with team members on daily research activities
- Collaborating with project leads within and outside the organization to identify and resolve study specific issues
- Demonstrates good project management skills
- Guide junior staff in the team
- Minimal travelling is required
**Job Requirement (Qualification & Experience)**
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Genetics, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field with mínimal 3 years of working experiences, preferably in biotechnology industry experience
- Prior experience in project management is preferred
- Track record in IVD product development is preferred
- Demonstrate proficiency in working in microbiology laboratory environment, prior experience in viral culture/bacterial culture is preferred
- Proficiency in molecular biology and biochemistry techniques
