DESIGNATION : Marketing Video Editor

RESPONSIBILITIES

**About the Role**:
We are looking to hire a Marketing Video Editor. S/he will be a key member of our marketing team and support the team in all aspects of ideating, creating and editing attention-grabbing game promotional videos for our players.

**What you will do**:

- Research, conceptualise and produce promotional videos for Storms
- Produce high-quality, engaging, original content that can be used cross-platform
- Edit music, videos and graphics to be included in the videos
- Produce videos efficiently using various elements, including video assets, graphic assets, music, data viz, animations and etc
- Source archival content, stock video, imagery, music, voice-over and sound effects
- Test and experiment with different versions of an edit, exploring multiple directions if needed
- Able to repurpose content to be utlised across various Social Media platforms (Memes, Gifs, TikTok Videos, Instagram Stories, etc.)
- Ensure that all projects are within deadlines and budget constraints.
- Work collaboratively with the broader design team (Graphic Designer) to create a consistent brand and message.

QUALIFICATIONS

**What you have**:

- 2-3+ years of professional video editing experience in creating video ads to promote a mobile game/app with a strong portfolio of work
- Familiarity with motion graphics, sound and video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Audition, and Photoshop
- Ability to prioritise and multi-task in a fast-paced environment while meeting a high level of video editing standards
- Experienced in producing polished, professional video edits and motion graphics work, carried from concept to completion, largely independently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Team-player who loves high-growth environments, and is excited to increase our growth, take full ownership of the role and ready to make an impact from day 1.
- The ability to think critically + solve problems with concrete direction - on the flip side, the ability to design with vague or little direction.
- Highly organized and strong attention to detail when finalizing videos

OTHER INFORMATION

**As a bonus, you would have**:

- Knowledge of basic 3D Animation
- Knowledge of the Web3 and GameFi space is a bonus and not necessary. However, being enthusiastic to learn as much as possible about the ever-evolving Web3 world is a must
- Experience working on video games (Desktop and/or Mobile).
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and short notice on pivots.
