**[What the role is]**
The Manager/Senior Manager oversees various key initiatives, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to institutional policies. This role involves leading the graduation ceremony, overseeing survey matters, coordinating internship policies, and handling student conduct and discipline matters. The Manager/Senior Manager will also represent the institution in joint committees and work closely with various teams to achieve project goals.
**[What you will be working on]**
- Lead the organisation of the Graduation Ceremony and collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth execution of all sessions.
- Oversee Graduate Employment Survey (GES) matters, represent NYP in the Joint-Polytechnic GES Committee, work with the NYP GES Team, and ensure smooth running of surveys on a joint-poly basis and for NYP's target groups. This includes meeting targeted response rates, reporting survey findings, press releases, lucky draws, and presentations.
- Manage the team to conduct the NYP Student Engagement Survey (SES), obtaining feedback from students on various campus matters, working with colleagues to launch SES, achieving the target response rate per course, and reviewing and refining SES processes to improve workflow efficiency and follow-up actions.
- Oversee the Internship Programme Committee Secretariat, provide oversight and coordination of internship policies, processes, and practices, and ensure the internship framework is current and updated regularly.
- Coordinate efforts to ensure adherence to the Framework for Student Conduct, ensure appropriate messaging to students and staff on discipline matters, and work with colleagues and Disciplinary Investigation Officers to handle discipline-related matters according to SOPs.
- Work with universities on university articulation matters.
- Undertake any other projects and tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
**[What we are looking for]**
- Relevant qualifications and a minimum of 5 years of administrative support experience, preferably in an educational setting.
- Proficient in MS Office.
Skills / knowledge / experience required and/or preferred:
- Proven management and administrative experience.
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
