**Position Description**:
Consumer Health is currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst within the Global Supply Chain Finance organization. Reporting to the regional Finance Manager, this role will enable the individual to develop key skills as a finance leader, for example: problem-solving, influencing skills, data-driven analytics, and offers exposure to finance and business leaders. The position requires interaction with management to provide business and finance insights in a highly dynamic organization.

This position will be a highly relied upon finance partner to the procurement teams in providing analysis and data-driven insights to shape business strategies and decision making. As the Procurement Finance model evolves, this position will be involved in leading finance service delivery changes within the region as well as relied upon to embrace and drive technology enablers for process efficiencies and improved business insights.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Provide financial leadership to indirect procurement categories (e.g., Corporate Services, Marketing Logistics, CCFS) through analysis and benchmarking of savings & spend to identify value-creating opportunities
- Drive transparency and insights to the financial implications of external market forces (e.g., inflation) and develop robust modelling to explain & forecast changes to supplier spend. For example, energy and commodity inflation impacting logistics
- Provide end-to-end financial leadership, strategic support and project accounting for business cases & initiatives, such as sourcing RFPs (Request for Proposal), long-range financial planning, prioritization of investments, etc. leading to value creating opportunities
- Actively review and influence pre-negotiation strategies and supplier agreements to align with preferred terms and drive value opportunities
- Ensure proactive compliance with respect to Global Savings Policy and general accounting and business policies & procedures
- Identify opportunities to embed and drive adoption of innovative solutions / tools within our processes. Such as Tableau, Qlick Sense, Alteryx, for the future state support model of the procurement function
- Deliver value through continuing to simplify processes, reducing complexity and providing relevant insights to enable excellence in business partnering and decision making
- Prepare management review decks and effectively frame & communicate business insights to senior management to help inform and drive fact-based decisions
- Own business planning & forecast cycles, month-end financial close and budget vs actuals analysis (i.e., spend, savings, external forces, functional cost / org effectiveness
- Support benchmarking activities to ensure the strategy is in line with industry best practices

**Qualifications** Position Requirements**:

- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably a major in Accounting or Finance
- A minimum of three (3) years of finance or accounting experience
- Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Individual must work well in a dynamic / evolving environment and be able to recommend and implement operational improvements, work independently, and handle several tasks simultaneously
- The ability to influence and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, within a global matrix environment across multiple business and initiatives
