Job Summary: Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Data Management Manager to lead our master data management program. The Master Data Management Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategies to manage the organization's data as a key enterprise asset.

Key Responsibilities:

- This person will work with the Embecta ID Data Governance lead and the data migration team System Integrators on all data related activities.
- Work with all data smes to ensure all data migration activities and deliverables are completed on time (e.g. data preparation, data mapping, data load execution and data business validation)
- Develop and implement master data management strategies that align with business goals and objectives, and support data governance principles.
- Design and implement master data management processes and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, completeness, and timeliness.
- Develop and maintain the organization's master data architecture, including the creation and management of data models, taxonomies, and metadata.
- Lead the development and implementation of data quality standards and metrics, and ensure compliance with those standards.
- Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Manage and lead a team of data management professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support as needed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to develop and implement data-related projects and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers, and oversee the management of contracts and service level agreements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in data management, with a focus on master data management
- Strong understanding of data management principles, including data governance, data quality, and data architecture. Understands our data migration methodology and helps others in the region on our data methodology
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing master data management strategies, processes, and procedures
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and lead a team of data management professionals
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and analyze data-related issues and develop solutions to address them
