Perform inspections and witness tests on Electrical & Instrumentation and installation in Oil and gas plants is in conformance with relevant project specifications
- Ensure that the construction quality is in accordance with the approved Project Quality Plan
- Monitor day to day quality control activities and maintain effective coordination with the respective construction team members to perform the necessary quality control activities
- Perform inspections and witness tests on Electrical, Instrumentation & installation is in conformance with relevant project specifications
- Check the correctness and practicality of drawings by reviewing drawings and project specifications
- Ensure sub-contractors are using the latest revised drawings and documents by performing weekly checks on their documents against the drawing/document register
- Ensure materials, equipment and instruments delivered to the site comply with project specifications by conducting inspection on received items and reviewing its accompanying documents - Standardize site installation of typical equipment and instruments by preparing a mock-up for every installation as a reference
- Conduct daily site inspection and surveillance to capture deficiencies in fabricated components, installed item or systems
- Record project completion progress and quality measurements by inspecting and completing ITRs (Inspection and Test Records)
- Ensure jobs are carried out safely by giving daily morning tool box briefing to all personnel involved in the project
- Ensure that all changes made at site are captured accordingly by reviewing project’s final documentation

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering or any other relevant discipline
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in offshore platform/ oil and gas
- Required Compex certificate (MUST)
- Able to commit 2 year contract
- Familiar with international codes and standards, IEC etc.
- Familiar with ATEX standards and Hazardous area classifications
- Comfortable is using MS Office tools
- Good/corrected vision.
- Must be able to handle heavy physical tasks and willing to work in Jurong Island
- Good team player and able to work independently
- Good communication and interpersonal skill
- Willing to do shift work when required
- Willing to travel overseas when required
