Location: Singapore, SG, 569874 Bien Hoa, VN, 810000- Job Requisition ID: 6840- Manage and lead the Category Buyers, Country Buyers and monitor relevant targets and figures - Take ownership of Sub-Regional responsibility for the KPIs of South East Asia non-production material - Sub-Regional planning and tracking of budgetary prerequisites, and development of purchasing costs in agreement with the relevant specialist areas and regional/local contact partners - Steering and implementation of sub-regional Purchasing Strategy - Identification, initiation, and promotion of potential savings and improvements (e.g. initiation of make-or-buy analyses) as well as responsibility for the up-to-date of project data in the Purchasing reporting system - Monitoring of project implementation and initiation of countermeasures if the project target is jeopardized - Risk management and task force/troubleshooting with QCD issues for all suppliers assigned as part of the Supplier Management Assignment. - Negotiation of prices, conditions, and contracts as well as requests for bids for suppliers assigned as part of the Supplier Management Assignment. - Ensuring the publication of concluded prices, conditions, and contracts for the suppliers that are negotiated according to the SMA - Initiation and implementation of the supplier selection and supplier approval process in accordance with the category-specific requirement matrix, creation of awarding of contract decision forms, and nomination of suppliers - Active management of the supplier portfolio (e.g. ensuring the correct supplier assignment, supplier classification, supplier assessment, and supplier development) as well as active management of highly-volatile and supply-critical materials - Regular coordination with the relevant specialist departments and the regional/local contact partners in order to increase customer satisfaction **Your Key Responsibilities**: - Leads the purchasing & supplier-management department for organization unit assigned. - Implements established purchasing strategies, policies, guidelines and procedures for the assigned area. - Maintains and updates performance metrics for all levels of purchasing activities. - Develops suppliers' base and strengthens purchasing partnerships for the assigned area in terms of QCD. - Plans and prioritizes resources and budgets in the assigned area. - Initiates and organizes improvement actions in the assigned area. **Your Qualifications**: - University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management - 5 to 10 years - Bachelor degree in business and/or a technical field or comparable qualification with > 5 years of professional experience in purchasing, - Strong leadership, ownership and time management - Capable to work independent in matrix organization - Strong commitment to business targets - Good command of English and Computer skills, SAP experience is preferred - Excellent negotiation skill, interpersonal communication skills
