The company operates three synergistic business lines: asset management, trading, and advisory solutions targeting institutions and accredited investors.

**Team & Position**

Blue Square’s Special Opportunities is the first of its kind multi-strategy/special situations investing strategy focused on the digital asset and blockchain ecosystem. We take a highly flexible, asset-class agnostic, and value-oriented approach to provide capital solutions to crypto companies and protocols in need. Led by experienced special situations investors previously at Goldman Sachs Special Situations Group (SSG), Lone Star Funds, and Fortress Investment Group.

We are seeking an Associate/Vice President to join our special opportunities investment team. This is an opportunity to join a high caliber team, execute on the most exciting deals as pioneers in this space, as well as support in the build of our business.

Location: Singapore

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in sourcing, evaluating, and structuring a range of potential investments
- Spearhead due diligence proceedings and deal execution
- Assist in deal negotiations with management teams and stakeholders
- Perform appropriate industry, business, legal, and financial analyses / modeling to vet deals
- Prepare internal memos and make recommendations to investment committee on investment opportunities
- Oversee post investment asset management / reporting / monitoring workstreams
- Support in the build-out of the team, strategy, and business of Blue Square

**Position Requirements**
- 2 - 6 years’ work experience preferably in private equity, special situations/credit, hedge fund, or investment banking
- Previous buy-side and crypto experience preferred (although not a must)
- Strong grasp of corporate finance fundamentals, markets, and deal structuring is a must
- Excellent quantitative/analytical and financial modeling skills
- Ability to operate independently and responsibly with little oversight as well as the ability to manage the due diligence process and execution of deals
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel, both internal and external
- Possess the best work ethics and character with strong integrity and sense of responsibility
- Natural curiosity to learn and seek exposure to new concepts
- Excellent command of English. Additional Asian language is preferred, but not a must
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or related business / technical field preferred
