**Responsibilities**:

- Diesel Generator Enclosure Design: _

Develop comprehensive design concepts for weatherproof enclosures that house diesel generators, ensuring functionality, durability, and compliance with industry standards for FPSO and offshore wind farm environments.
- CAD Modeling: _
- Material Selection: _

Research and recommend suitable materials for enclosure construction, considering factors such as corrosion resistance, durability, and compliance with environmental conditions specific to offshore installations.
- Ventilation and Cooling Systems: _

Design effective ventilation and cooling systems to ensure optimal performance and temperature regulation inside the generator enclosure in offshore and FPSO settings.
- Integration of Components: _
- Compliance and Standards: _

Stay abreast of industry standards and regulations, ensuring that enclosure designs comply with relevant codes and certifications for offshore environments.
- Collaboration: _

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, fabricators, and project managers, to incorporate feedback and ensure alignment with project goals for offshore installations.
- Documentation _**_: _**

Create detailed fabrication drawings and documentation, including bills of materials (BOMs), assembly instructions, and other relevant information for the workshop, with a focus on offshore requirements.
- Quality Assurance: _

Implement quality control measures to ensure the final product meets design specifications and industry standards for FPSO and offshore wind farm installations.
- Workshop Oversight: _

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in shipyard environments is considered a valuable bonus.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Designer with a focus on enclosure design, preferably for power generation systems in FPSO and offshore wind farm settings.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other relevant design tools.
- Strong understanding of materials, fabrication processes, and manufacturing techniques for offshore environments.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to generator enclosures in offshore and FPSO contexts.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and accuracy in design.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to design challenges.
