Principal / Sr. Principal Process Safety Consultant

Your ability to work cross-functionally means assignments may include all aspects of Process Safety: PSM program development, auditing, process hazards analysis (PHA), and qualitative and quantitative risk assessment, including hazard identification, accidental release scenario development, consequence modeling (dispersion, fire, explosion), frequency analysis (including Event Tree and Fault Tree analysis), presentation of risk results, and report preparation.

**What You'll Do**:
**What's Required**:

- 8 to 15+ years' experience required self-motivated, independent, organized, able to work effectively under direction of senior engineers, handle multiple work assignments and projects and seek professional growth and development.
- BS/MS in related engineering field (chemical, process safety or relevant discipline) or associated science degree.
- Relevant experience in, process safety, process safety management, health, safety and environment (HSE), related experience in process or engineering design environment, manufacturing operations, and/or consulting environment.
- Ability to develop consulting business, including developing proposals and making presentations
- Self-motivated, independent, strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and client service.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills and a consultative approach in supporting customer projects.

**What's Preferred**
- Experience in performing process hazard analyses (PHA), **specifically HAZOP studies**, and other risk assessments, or related studies, such as HAZID, What-If, HAZOP, FMEA, fault tree/event tree analysis, fire and explosion modeling, safety integrity level (SIL) assessment, or Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA)
- Experienced in facilitation and scribing PHA specifically HAZOP studies for different types of industries and/or processes
- Experienced in (Singapore) Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) and Safety Case.
- Experience in developing, writing, and implementing PSM plans, procedures, design philosophies, design bases, engineering specifications, standard operating procedures.
