Responsible for Order Processing: Receive orders from customers and input order to factories

Duration : 6 months contract

Working Hours : Monday to Friday (9.00am to 6.00pm)

Working Location : Clarke Quay

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for Order Processing: Receive orders from customers and input order to factories (Japan, Thailand, Indonesia and Taiwan)
- Liaise with factories, carriers, freight forwarder and customers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- Receive shipping documents from factories and process necessary shipping documents for customers.
- Prepare invoices to distributors and group companies
- Check freight, insurance and/or other logistics invoices and submit it to Accounting Department for payment.
- Maintain logistic databases and assist in the preparation of the transportation and distribution statistics for analysis.
- Prepare half-yearly budget for freight and insurance with analysis for approval.
- In-charged of monthly order issues and allocation in the region. Work with Production Planning and Sales teams to maximize supply & demand.
- Co-ordinate with Group Companies to resolve problems on deliveries, cargo damages, payments and complaints.
- Handle loss or damage and return goods if such discrepancies arise. Other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned.

**Job Requirements**
- **Diploma in Shipping and Logistics, Supply chain management and other related studies**:

- **2-3 years of experience Shipping / logistics, preferably from supply chain, freight and forwarding, transport and warehouse environment**:

- **Preferably with relevant experience in Program Management**:

- **Independent and able to work in a team**:

- **Possess good communication skills and able to interact with all levels**:

- **Good understanding and knowledge in inventory control, planning and procurement**:

- **Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment**:
**Salary : S$2,800.00 with 0.5 months completion bonus**
