The Policy & Planning department in SBF engages and partners stakeholders from businesses, trade associations and chambers, and government agencies to co-develop policy positions and advocate for pro-enterprise policies to support the needs of the Singapore business community.

The Manager / Senior Manager plays a key supporting role in developing policy recommendations and driving partnerships through key engagement activities with external stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the development of policy papers and recommendations concerning issues of interest and concern to the business community. These topics include but are not limited to talent development and workforce resilience, sustainability and ESG (environmental, social, and governance) priorities, and innovation and growth
- Work with the business community and relevant stakeholders on collaboration initiative or projects for ecosystem and industry development.
- Conceptualise and organise key events such as ministerial dialogues, fireside chats, and company visits to facilitate engagement and interaction between private and public sector stakeholders.
- Review SBF’s strategic direction and increase the visibility of SBF’s corporate achievements to better articulate our value to our stakeholders and members.
- Handle any other responsibilities and duties that may be assigned from time to time.

**Job Requirements**
- 5-8 years of relevant working experience in the private or public sector on policies related to businesses or in policy development roles will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of and interest in the key concerns and challenges of the Singapore business community, especially SMEs.
- A good breadth of knowledge of our government’s policies, programmes and schemes for businesses, and Government regulations that impact businesses.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Proactive and possess the drive and resourcefulness to come up with meaningful recommendations.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to bring various parties together to achieve results.
- Able to work well in a team and as an individual contributor.
