OpenBlue OpenBlue: This is How a Space Comes Alive

Support and complement the engineering team and sales team in the process design related to refrigeration systems and gas compression systems inclusive of compressor selections with Frick Screw compressors and York multi-wheel centrifugal compressors. This includes vessel and heat exchanger design using HYSYS and HTRI software and optimal to have AutoCad 2D experience for P&IDs and PFDs.

Assume responsibility in providing engineering support for the design of refrigeration systems and gas compression systems for sales and projects, attend HAZOP meetings, and assist the sale and project teams at customer meetings.

**What you will do**:

- Prepare and P&ID diagrams, PFD diagrams, design criteria etc
- Size refrigeration heat exchangers and gas coolers using HTRI along with HYSYS is an optional.
- Size refrigeration system vessels and gas compression system vessels.
- Specify temperature, pressure and differential transmitters, and flow meters along with the instrument engineer.
- Be able to design logic diagrams for the refrigeration / gas control systems along with the instrument engineer.
- Work together with various vendors for equipment sizing and specifications( Water pumps/ Fan/ condenser/ evaporator etc).
- Able to read and understand customer specifications.
- To fill in equipment datasheet follow customer format or API format.
- To attend Hazop meeting or technical meetings with Client/EPC
- To attend to site for site survey/understanding the current process or system/ able to provide solutions and recommendation
- Able to support for troubleshooting and diagnosis on existing system.
- Meet or improve the committed submission schedule of engineering documents, and complete assigned tasks within the time frame given.
- Able to work with different team member for completing work
- Able to work with project engineer to meet the delivery and specification of the project requirement.

**What we look for**:

- Diploma / Degree in Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD / HYSYS/ HTRI is a plus.
- Familiarity with international engineering codes and standards and API codes
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience, preferably in refrigeration, chemical process, oil and gas (onshore and offshore), or similar industry.
- Familiar with API 619 flooded screw compressor /API 526 relief valve / ASME B31.5 process piping is a plus.
- Understand control valve sizing and specification
