Senior Quantity Surveyor

**Job Summary**:
Senior Quantity Surveyor (Site) assists the Contracts Manager in day to day operations. Duties include managing overall project cost, check & preparation of subcon/supplier payments, developing subcontract/WO/PO, and preparation of claim while administering contractual and claim issues.
**Essential Job Functions**:
The Senior Quantity Surveyor (Site) is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Project Cost Control _
- Manage overall project budget
- Analyse and Develop cost report (monthly cost report and detail analysis of cost every 3 months)
- Quality _
- Take off the quantity and evaluate quotations from approved vendors.
- Prepare subcontract documents and purchasing agreements.
- Measure the as-built works progressively.
- Procurement, Contract, Vos, EOTs _
- Perform costs estimates.
- Prepares and updates cash flow charts.
- Identity variation works.
- Verify progress claims submitted by subcontractors/suppliers and prepare payment responses/certificates.
- Liaise with consultants QS on progress payments and variation orders.
- Estimate subcontractors’ final cost.
- Safety _
- Responsible for the compliance to safety & occupational health practices to be implemented at Contracts Section.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, QS, Civil, or Engineering or an industry recognized certification/qualification in Quantity Surveying
- 10 years’ relevant experience in infrastructure projects.
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience in managing a team of Quantity Surveyors.
- Experience in the procurement of construction projects will be an advantage.
- Familiar with tender and post contract management processes.
- Good knowledge in Quantity Surveying and Contracts Administration.
- Good construction knowledge which will be an asset for procurement and variation claims.
