**Primary Objectives of Position
To be involved in all aspects of accounting and oversees the day-to-day activities of the accounting team. To ensure that the organisation's finance function is well organised as well as produces timely and accurate financial statements and management accounts. To ensure compliance with corporate policies and statutory requirements. Analyses data and understands the financial performance and position of the organisation in order to develop suitable accounting policies to meet reporting requirements and to produce any special reports required by the management team. Work closely with consultants (Audit, Tax, etc), bankers, and regulators. Keep current with changing statutory requirements and tax laws and determine the implications of such changes to financial reporting. Work with the leadership team to help define the organisation’s overall finance strategy.

**Major Responsibilities
- To supervise the finance team in financial accounting and corporate reporting such as preparation of financial reports, journal entries, and to review and submission of GST.
- To participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Responsible for managing the accounts payable and receivables (petty cash, payments and receipts). You will also be the one preparing the cash forecast and monthly cash flow reports and also, the one liaises with bankers on bank related matters.
- To supporting external audit and tax submission and other related tax activities.
- To process business transactions, reports, managing accounts software, extract data, financial statements for management and external stakeholders.

Ad hoc matters as required by the management.

**Required Skills**:
- Possess a Degree in Accounting or a higher qualification, and/or at least 3 years of relevant experience in the Finance department.
- Must be organized, meticulous and methodical.

**Other information**
- Working hours is from 8:30am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday
- Frequent shuttle bus schedule from/to Lakeside MRT and Buroh Lane
