**OVERVIEW**:

- DSTA’s DevSecOps group is looking for experienced DevSecOps Engineers to scale our DevSecOps capability to enable greater speed and agility in software development across DSTA, MINDEF and SAF.

- You can look forward to joining a newly formed term with a mission to provide centralised DevSecOps services for DSTA, MINDEF and SAF. You will be responsibly to design, develop and deliver DevSecOps capabilities with the aim to substantially reduce the software delivery lead-time enterprise-wide. To achieve this, we will need you to aggressively introduce technologies to push the automation boundary, streamline work processes, and embed advanced software engineering practices into the Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline to create the shift-left effects in software development.
You can be expected to work alongside passionate DevSecOps professionals who are excited in our DevSecOps journey to provide developers with a user-friendly development platform, and a secure CI/CD pipeline. In this role, you will:

- Perform continuous improvement to the CI/CD pipelines thought automation and streamlining of work processes across stakeholders.
- Configure tools and developing scripts to automate the build and deployment processes.
- Ensure the availability of the DevSecOps platforms and services.
- Work with developers and scrum masters to resolve project specific CI/CD pipeline issues to increase software delivery velocity.
- Perform regular technology scan to ensure DevSecOps tools and practices keep pace with evolving technology landscape and development needs.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:
**Minimum qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields.

**_ Relevant experience and mindset_**
- Good understanding in DevSecOps principles with hand-on experience.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, JFrog, Jira, Confluence, SonarQube, Fortify SCA, WebInspect, Parasoft, ESLint, Pylint, JTest, Junit, Selenium, pytest, Jtest, Android Lint, and etc.
- Proficient in Linux and/or Windows system administration
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
- Excellent analytical skills including the ability to deliver technical concepts clearly across different audiences.
- Have a passion for innovation in delivering solutions/services.

**_ It would be a bonus if you have_**
- Possess basic cybersecurity knowledge with understanding in cyber hardening requirements (networks, host, COTS middleware).
- Familiarity with automated deployment tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Understand Agile (e.g. Scrum or Extreme Programming) practices and secure software development lifecycle.
- Working experience with cloud computing providers (e.g. Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure etc.).
