Online Art Gallery Executive

We are searching for an online gallery executive who is primarily responsible for maintaining and improving the artistic and commercial success of an online art gallery.

**Job responsibilities:
Logistics
- Ensuring the uploading of artworks at the online webpage
- Arranging for storage, delivering, and shipping of the artworks
- Arranging for loans with other art galleries
- Managing inventory

PR and Communication
- Writing the documents such as labels, interpretative materials, and information panels.
- Handle queries and provide information to the online customers
- Developing and maintaining relationships with artists and clientele
- Updating the gallery’s website and social media accounts
- Arranging writing press releases

Marketing & Sales
- Negotiating sales with clients
- Plan financial budgets
- Implementing marketing strategies to increase sales
- Advertising gallery artists and collections
- Organizing and promoting exhibits and art installations
- Updating acquisition catalogue, sales records, and client database

**Job Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge in at least a particular art form: photography, sculpture, paintings, contemporary art, etc.
- Knowledgeable in art history, and arts management and have a fundamental knowledge of marketing concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree in fine arts, art history, art education, art management, or related field is required
- Additional background in advertising, computers and internet media, business administration and museum work is advantageous.
