We are looking for a Graduate Trainee, Claims, to join our Allianz Commercial Graduate Program, based in Singapore.

**Your Team**:
You will be part of the Short Tail Claims Department, which covers different Lines of Business, including Property, Energy, Construction, Marine and Entertainment

**Key Responsibilities**

**Claims Processing and Administration**

Input and maintain accurate claims records for designated accounts, within appropriate AGCS Claims administration systems.

Review late/nonpayment of premium and support credit control process with Underwriting / Accounts.

**Investigation and Reserving of Claims**

Investigate standard claims, including coverage determination and evaluation of loss exposures.

Determine appropriate reserving levels.

**Settlement and Reporting**

Prepare and as required, settle case for settlement of standard claims through payment or denial.

Support negotiation to ensure efficient and competitive settlement.

**Referrals and Compliance**

Ensure all claims handled within authority limits, and in line with AGCS Claims Standards procedures and guidelines.

Refer cases outside of authority level.

Prepare referral documentation and materials as appropriate.

**Market Management**

Liaise with MMC on market management initiatives.

Attend industry functions.

**Key Experience / Requirements / Skills**
- Expected to graduate with a university degree by June 2025 in a related field (Accountancy, Business, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering etc.).
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Knowledge or prior experience in an insurance related company is advantageous.
- Strong desire to learn the ropes in preparation for a career in the insurance industry.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, including demonstrated tenacity at data mining to discover root causes of results is advantageous.
- Team player with strong service quality mind-set, adaptable, analytical, independent, meticulous, proactive, reliable, resilient, self-motivated, and willing to learn.
- Very strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

**Further Information**:

- Duration: This is a permanent opportunity. After extensive training during the first 12 months on our Graduate Programme you will continue to work within the team and benefit from the lifelong learning opportunities that Allianz Commercial offers.
