**Key Responsibilities for this role**:

- Create and review the Portfolio strategy, and communicate the agreed strategy to all appropriate areas, both internal and external. Contribute to the formulation of Fund Strategy.
- Make investment decisions within delegated authority and make recommendations for decisions outside delegated authority.
- To seek sales and asset management opportunities to meet Portfolio strategy.
- To prioritise and monitor the preparation of Asset Plans and to assess, contribute to and approve Asset Plans and Initiatives.
- Reviewing external and internal valuations and monitoring individual property and Portfolio performance.
- Monitor appropriate levels of risk and investment outcomes of assigned portfolios
- Using investigative skills to analyse macroeconomics and impact it has on investments
- Client relationship management on key portfolio holdings and any ad hoc requests
- Generating high-quality, well-diligence investment ideas independently

**Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience**:

- Bachelor degree in finance or related field
- Minimum 12 years' experience in a similar role or a Fixed Income Investment position
- Extensive knowledge of financial markets, economic theories etc as it relates to fixed income investing.
- Demonstrably strong analytical and research skills. An ability to master the unit economics of a business and focus on the key issues for an investment case
- Strong network of corporate and industry contacts across the region
- Curious, open-minded, team player
- Proficiency in Excel and other research/data compilation tools
- Experience of conducting investment research under compliance conditions reflective of international best practice
