Our Client provides high-class plastics and synthetic rubber for industries such as automotive, electronics, and more.
- Reporting to: Assistant QC Manager/QC Manager
- 【 What you will be doing 】- Monitor and supervise the QC laboratory technicians making sure that they are competent and compliant to the quality and safety requirements through on-job and refresher trainings.
- Ensure quality and safety procedures are reviewed and updated in compliance with ISO 9001/IATF 16949 standards.
- Troubleshoot instrument errors, investigate the root cause of QC lab instrument abnormality and provide corrective and improvement actions (CAPA).
- Maintain LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) and support system enhancements.
- Closely coordinate and collaborate with all relevant personnel (production supervisors, process engineers and external parties) to resolve any quality and safety-related issues in the QC lab.
- Understand and implement Customer Specific Requirements (CSR) related to the QC laboratory.
- Support Management of Change (MOC) for any planned changes in the QC laboratory that impact quality and safety.
- Responsible for departmental purchases to support laboratory operation and improvements.
- Responsible for the installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, calibration and verification of analytical instruments and systems (Viscometer, GPC, GC, HPLC, FTIR, KF Titrators, etc.).
- Responsible for review and upkeep of Risk Assessment, Work Instructions, and related QC laboratory documents and records.
- Participate in both internal and external audits related to quality and safety. Perform auditing on a periodic basis (system, process and product audits).
- Perform any other delegated task as required by the superior.

**Requirement**:

- 【 What they are looking for 】- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering/Chemistry
- More than 5 years of working experience in Quality related functions such as Quality Control or Quality Assurance.
- Has experience supervising junior staff or technicians before
- Sound knowledge and hands-on experience of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949
- Strong leadership, able to set prioritization and handle change management.
