Agronomist

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Identification of research needs to support the marketing of the K+S fertilizers.
- Coordination of fertilizer trial/demonstration program to meet these needs.
- Technical support related to the use of K+S products to customers in Asia Pacific region.
- Development of conceptional solutions for our customers how the usage of our products can solve their and their customer’s needs.
- Support the sales team in the promotion of K+S special fertilizer portfolio.
- Development of promotional tools (presentations, articles, leaflets and brochures, web presentations) in collaboration with the K+S marketing department and K+S’ global agronomy network.
- Ensure a transfer from scientific agricultural knowledge into simplified, useful marketing material.
- Organization of farmers/planters’ meetings to disseminate information on the use and effects of K+S fertilizers together with local sales representatives.
- Preparation of regular reports on market development, particularly in comparison to competitors' products. (Scientific publication review).
- Identification of market potential for specialty fertilizers in SEA.

**Requirement**:

- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy (preferably Master’s degree).
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in agricultural inputs company (fertilizer, crop protection, seeds industry,).
- Availability to travel around 40% of the time within the Asia-Pacific region.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex scientific information to diverse audiences in a simple way.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Self-starter with a high level of motivation.
